I met 1st met Vincent when he was a teenager. Though I was not we bonded over PC gaming, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, and D&D. Vincent is one of my best friend’s brother in law. I have seen Vincent a couple times a year for 20+ years. When he and Melinda got engaged I was hopeful they would ask me to be their wedding. I was so excited when I hear from Vincent and got to meet Melinda soon after on Google Meets and then in late August in person where we finalized my booking! Melinda and Vincent are perfect for each other and each other’s families.

Wedding was at the beautiful Christ the King Church followed by a reception at the Appel Inn where Gerhard, Louise, and staff took good care of everyone. I even had macarons and black raspberry ice cream from an ice cream truck (needed to eat that fast in the 90 degree heat). Detailed  event planning provided by Gloria Schultz Events. Melinda & Vincent were having the time of their lives and I got to hang out and take photos. Pretty great if you ask me.

Kaity & Erich only JUST hired us to be their wedding photographers for their Feb 17th, 2023 wedding! So excited to shoot a wedding so close to Valentine’s Day!

Happy they also wanted an engagement photography session as this is the BEST time of year for an e-Sesh!

I wanted to shoot where we could bring in the outdoors and riotous fall color. A recent hike through the Ramapo Valley Reservation had me thinking what a great place it would be for wedding or engagement photos, so we met there yesterday (29-Oct-2022) and I am delighted to post a preview to my blog so soon.

We had a great time and captured some breathtaking photos! No I am in no hurry for the Winter, but shooting Kaity+Erich’s wedding at The Tides Estate will certainly be a Winter highlight!

Spring Lake’s Best Wedding Photographers

Holly Rose & Scott decided to get married, they came to me as I worked with Holly on some commercial photography ~10 years ago. This was a 2nd wedding for both of them, I too am married to my amazing wife Mechelle, in a 2nd (I mean last!) marriage. I understand –I get it. It’s different….wonderful but different. They were really comfortable with my being there as solo photographer. Wedding was small and outdoors. Maybe 75 people under a tent. Food and drink by food truck! The ceremony space, nestled in the mountains of VT truly got me teary-eyed.

I was even treated to a sip of Pappy Van Winkle –one of the world’s rarest bourbons.

Jess and KB’s wedding was at the grand St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Cathedral

in Paterson with getting ready and reception at The Rockleigh. 

I had shot their engagement photos back in the spring of 2021 at the NJ Botanical garden so we already had a great rapport on wedding day.

KB + Jess were in such a jubilant mood –it was great to be around them. They are ADORED by their friends and family so it was a high-energy love-fest at The Rockleigh! My 12-hour day literally flew by!

It was so much fun shooting Malika + Ray’s wedding! I had already met them because I shot Ray’s brother Kimornie’s wedding a month earlier. At that wedding Malika was Maid of Honor for bride Jessenia. It is always great coming into a wedding where you have met the B&G at a another wedding and plenty of the guests too.

Wedding was at the amazing Park Château –a venue I had long dreamed of shooting at. With me as 2nd shooter was Amanda, owner of Creative Pigments Photography. She killed it!

Awesome crowd with such a positive, high energy. It was a fab night –as the images will attest.

At the end of the night I kicked back for a bit and had a drink with Kimornie and Jessenia. Pretty great way to end the evening. I better get back to editing their photos!

Heather and Stu wanted an intimate wedding with family and friends so close they are family too. So they took a few hours on a Spring Saturday in Rutherford, NJ and got married in a cute space on top of a restaurant. Lots of kids, lots of fun.

A few years ago I shot engagement and wedding photos for Casey’s sister, Laura. When I received the call from Casey asking if I was available to be her photographer my answer was a resounding YES!

Bergen County’s Best wedding Photographers

Dana contacted me over the holidays looking for a wedding photographer for her and Paul’s Bergen County Courthouse wedding. Just 2 hours of coverage…well actually 90 minutes as I provides an extra 30 at N/C. I think the best photos of the day were when we got back to their home after the ceremony.

The teary eyes at the courthouse were testament to their love and the love of the family in attendance.

Sullivan County Wedding Photographers

I first heard from Jackie on August 2nd, looking for a wedding photographer for her and Michael’s Oct 23, 2022 wedding. Even though I spelled her name wrong in my reply (Jskie?) We finally connected for a Zoom call on August 1st. I knew immediately they were going to hire me. Our calls have been rambling, relaxed,conversations full of laughter. I am smiling now as I write this!

Mike said Lake Minnewaska was his favorite place in the world and he wanted to shoot their engagement session up there. 1:15 is a longish ride for an eSesh but I had been to this emerald of a lake surrounded by limestone cliffs and knew it would be great for the photos and a great place to finally meet Jackie & Michael. We met in the parking lot…”Bring it in,” Mike said, and gave me a hug as did Jackie. We proceeded to walk around the lake and take photos when we hit a beautiful, inspiring spot. The view over the mountains looking away from the lake was the prettiest autumnal display I had ever seen…it was moving. We had to wait for people to leave…but once they did we took some photos and celebrated for a bit, taking it all in.

Too fucking cool!

Congrats to Colleen and Richard! Getting ready at the Morristown Museum was a stroke of genius. We got to take photos in a gallery that was not set to open to the public for a couple more weeks. 1st look in the Museum on stairs festooned with flowers. St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Parsippany for the wedding. Dinner was at Churrascuria Plataforma in Manhattan.

A most amazing “Tent” wedding in Airmont, NY last night. I was blown away buy the luxury, elegance, and attention to detail by event designer Eric of @AuroraRose.Events. Eric is Erica’s cousin and pulled out all the stops.

Erica and Brandon were so chill and cool. During one teleconference Erica insisted they didn’t want too may photos as there were not photogenic. After this gallery makes the rounds that spurious claim will clearly be proven false.

I jumped at the chance to shoot Cara + Nick’s wedding at the Laurelwood Arboretum in Wayne, NJ. Beautiful outdoor setting on a summer day, followed by a back yard tent reception. Food made by your Mom with all the love she could muster –and that is a lot. Cara’s Dad Greg hired me and I am so grateful Google helped get this awesome family to me .
